Moviegoers Ask for Refunds After Finding Out The Artist Is a Silent Film

While this may get a lot of people sniggering, I don’t think it’s totally unjustified. Nowhere does it say (on the poster or otherwise) that the film is silent. In fact on IMDB you have to scroll down and under “Sound Mix” it says “silent”.

The film is clearly about a silent movie star, but that doesn’t necessarily imply that the film has been shot entirely without sound.

Anyway, I personally don’t see the hype behind the film. There are much superior silent films, such as Nosferatu, The Birth of a Nation, The Circus, etc.
